Warranty Policy — Softastrd.com
- Legal liability for defects (statutory warranty of conformity) applies.
- The customer is required to verify the completeness of the order and the proper functioning of the item—in particular, the validity and activation of the license key—immediately upon delivery, and to report any obvious defects to us as soon as possible. Failure to report such defects in a timely manner does not affect the customer’s statutory warranty rights.
- The quality of the item is determined solely by our information and the product description provided by the manufacturer, and not by any other forms of advertising, public communications, or promotional statements made by the manufacturer.
- The commercial warranty period is 14 days from the date of purchase. If, by that deadline, the license key is found to be invalid or cannot be activated for reasons attributable to us, the customer is entitled to a correction or to the provision of a replacement key, as provided for in Section 6.
- The warranty does not cover defects resulting from: misuse of the product or the license key; installation or activation that does not comply with the instructions; use in a hardware or software environment that does not meet the requirements specified in the product description or license certificate; unauthorized modifications; or interventions attributable to the customer or third parties. Keys that have already been activated or redeemed are also excluded, unless the malfunction is attributable to us.
- In the event of a defective license key, we have the right to remedy the defect (correction) or to provide a replacement key that is free of defects (replacement delivery). At our request, the customer is required to cooperate—for example, by ceasing use of the defective key—in accordance with applicable law.
Granting of Rights (Software Supply Contracts)
Upon full payment of the purchase price, the customer receives the non-exclusive and perpetual right to use the product to the extent permitted by the contract. The product may be used simultaneously only by the maximum number of people or devices corresponding to the purchased license. Permitted use includes installing the software, loading it into main memory, and using it as intended. Under no circumstances does the customer have the right to rent, sublicense, resell, publicly reproduce, or make the purchased goods accessible—whether via cable or wirelessly—nor to make them available to third parties, whether for a fee or free of charge, except as expressly permitted by law.
The customer has the right to create a backup copy of the software if necessary to ensure its future use.
